JESSE LITSCH
New Hampshire starter Jesse Litsch pitched seven innings of no-hit ball last night at Bowie before being removed due to his pitch count. The Fisher Cats bid for a no-hitter fell one out short when reliever Tracy Thorpe gave up a two-out double in the ninth inning.
Litsch is now 5-1 with a 0.96 ERA, allowing just 22 hits in 37.2 innings pitched over his first six starts. The 6’1 right-hander out of the University of South Florida has struck out 28 opponents while walking just 7.

Wawawewa what a great pitcher, only 22 years old and he’s throwing like that? he will be big one of these days and I hope to see acall-up to Syracuse and maybe even Toronto with their pitching troubles.
