August 1st v. Scranton

After winning a championship down the road in Auburn just last year, Brett Cecil makes his Chiefs debut on the mound tonight at Alliance Bank Stadium. If you can’t make it to the ballpark, you can listen to the game on NOVA 105.1 FM or online at milb.com for free starting at 6:45 PM.

Alfredo Aceves makes the start for the Yankees. The veteran righty has pitched the last six seasons in the Mexican League, which is an equivalent to AAA baseball. Full game notes to tonight’s game are available here.

Also new to the Chiefs tonight is coach John Schneider who you’ll probably see coaching first tonight and in the dugout. Schneider played 57 games with Syracuse over the past five seasons. He joined the Blue Jays system as a minor league instructor this season.
