Doubledays Hot Stove

A few members of the Chiefs front office made the trip to Auburn on Saturday for the Doubledays Hot Stove Dinner.

Former Chiefs pitcher David Purcey was one of the featured speakers along with Doubledays manager Dennis Holmberg(standing between Tex and John Simone in picture below). Central New York baseball fans may remember that prior to his managerial stint in Auburn Holmberg was a coach for the 1985 division-winning Syracuse Chiefs.

Congratulations to Tom Ganey, Carl Gutelius, and the entire Auburn staff on very nice event!
