Stuff you’ll like 6-14-11
Good morning:
The Chiefs fell in a tough one last night 8-3 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Yankee youngster Jesus Montero had a three-run homer off of Nationals rehabber Tom Gorzelanny….Syracuse plays tonight against Scranton for one more at 7 PM. Hope you can join us for Volunteer Firefighter Night and the Principal Financial Group Dreams Tour. Along with the Dreams Tour, former Chief Kelly Gruber will be in town signing autographs. Gruber played with Randy Knorr in Toronto…they won a World Series together in 1992.
Here’s a set of items I have the hubris to know you’ll enjoy:
* Inside Lacrosse chatted with Jim Brown before the Tewaarton banquet.
* One California League team has modified the snow globe to fit its needs.
*What Jesus Montero might have in common with Kevin Stocker and Timo Perez.
*What Ryan Zimmerman’s return means to the Nationals.
*Who needs dollars when you can have BitCoin?
*Kelly Gruber’s hair used to be, let’s say, interesting.
*Is Wrigley field a dump?
*Vote for some Chiefs into the Triple-A All-Star Game.
*Rich Eisen’s podcasts are becoming a TV show.
*In honor of Volunteer Firefighter Night, the booth’s triumph over the hoses.
Chiefs and Yankees tonight at 7. Our coverage starts at 6:45 on The Score 1260 or online at thescore1260.com.
